Evie listened intently. She murmured quietly, "I will obey these rules and your words."

"That is good." Kava said, smiling. "And you?" She asked the silent fae.

The five and a half year old trotted through the trees, looking out on the meadow that happened to be placed close by. She smiled at the scent of the flowers that filled her nose, but a scent of a couple wolves also came after a while.
"Ohh... a pack... maybe Kassiel's here..." she thought to herself, with a grin on her face.
Slowly and quietly, Tundra followed the scent, trying to be as quiet and as sneaky as she could. She reached an area with a den, and saw some wolves chatting their way about who-knows-what. She scanned all of them: all females... and no Kassiel.

"Where did that traitor run off to? Perhaps they have seen him, possibly?"
With a sigh of yet another disappointment, the wolf-husky revealed herself to the wolves, in hopes they weren't hostile. One appeared old [Kava], but the other two [Flamepelt and Evie] appeared to be a lot younger than she was. They seemed friendly, and she sure hoped that they were.
"Hello..."

Evie turned around to see another wolf. She wondered who this wolf was. "Hello," she said in a friendly voice.

Tundra's eyes landed on those of a blonde she-wolf [Evie] who had just said hi back. She thought she would wait until she was addressed once more, but she decided she wanted to be quick and move on to further her chances of finding Kassiel.[
"By any chance, would any of you have happened to have seen a male wolf by the name of Kassiel pass by here? It's very important, and I need to find him. So if you have, just say which direction he went and I'll be on my way."

Kava's expression brightened up yet again at the sight of the newcomer. 'So many new faces.' She thought. It was a fae, older than Evie or the quiet one, and when she asked about whether or not any of them had seen a male come through, Kava thought for a moment before replying, "No, the only male wolf I have seen in a while is Grayson, and I doubt he is this Kassiel that you search for. If I may ask, why do you need to find him?"

When the older wolf [Kava] spoke of not seeing Kassiel, Tundra let out another sigh. She sniffed the air in case this Grayson wolf was in fact Kassiel, but the scents did not match. Kass had not come by this way. Tun also shifted her paws uncomfortably when asked why she was looking for him.
"No means to be rude, miss, but I'd rather keep that information to myself..."

"Then I won't pry further." Kava told her, seeing that she had made the fae uncomfortable. "I have been rude enough by not introducing myself. I am Kava, the Gatherer, and I am the head of this pack which you seem to have stumbled upon." She waited to allow Evie and the quiet one time to introduce themselves.

"Thank you..." she said after the wolf [Kava] said she wouldn't ask about it anymore. Tundra nodded to each of the wolves when they introduced themselves. The older one was Kava, and the blonde one was Evie.
"And you both may call me Tundra."

"Welcome, Tundra." Kava said with a smile. "If I may ask, do you intended to linger here on the Meadow for long? If so, you're more than welcome to stay with us. While I'm sure you are very dedicated to your search, a little rest every now and them is always important."

"Kava, if you don't mind, may I explore the meadow for a little while?" she asked, hoping the older fae wouldn't mind her little exploration trip. "I hope I'm not being rude or anything."

"Of course you may," The Gatherer told Evie. "You now live here, so it's best that you learn the area. And, if I may, can I ask you to go by the river while you are out? I am smelling something coming from there, but I don't know if it is a fresh scent."

"Thank you," Evie said politely, "and, of course, I will stop by the river." She padded off, waving her long, white-striped tail in good-bye.

(Evie has moved to the East River.)

Tundra gave a slight nod to Kava when welcomed into the area.
"I suppose I could stay for a couple weeks. Is this a group of lone wolves, or a pack?"
She watched as Evie requested to go explore and trotted off when said she could. She was going to ask to keep an eye out on Kassiel, but she held her tongue. One, she didn't really get the chance; it all happened so quick. And two, she didn't wish to appear desperate with the whole thing, but the truth was, she was starting to get really worked up with whether or not she'd ever find him.
"Please... someone here find that traitor..."

After watching Evie head off, Kava turned back to Tundra to answer her question. "We are a pack, though the term family is used more. We live out here on the Meadow, protecting her in exchange for a home. You're welcome to stay as long as you need, and, if you're interested, I have a rank that you would probably do well in." The Gatherer sensed that the she-wolf would make a fine Mentor, as she looked like one who had many years of experience and knowledge behind her.

"I see. It does seem bright and beautiful in the open fields, actually..."
Tundra looked through the several trees that stood between herself and the Meadow, and then looked back at Kava.
"And I would like to stay, if that's alright with you. What rank are you thinking of for me?"
She sat down, keeping pressure off her left ankle as she did so. Tun looked down, and stared at the scar that was still there. One of the many scabs had broken off, causing that one part to bleed. She lowered her muzzle to clean the new and dried blood.

As Tundra lowered her head to clean the wound at her ankle, Kava spoke again. "I think the rank of Mentor will suit you. It's a position of guidance, you would help teach and advise the pack. Does that interest you?"

Tundra rose her head to make eye contact with Kava after she offered her a rank.
"Mentor? Hm... that does sound interesting. Perhaps I'll give it a try," she said.
Tun continued to get the last bits of blood off of her ankle, and when she was done she sat up and waited for the she-wolf to give her response.

"Wonderful!" Kava replied with a smile. "A mentor you shall be! Now...would you perhaps like to accompany me to the river? I know I asked Evie to head down there when she got the chance, but I still wish to investigate for myself."

Tundra smiled back at Kava and flickered her tail.
"Sure, I wouldn't mind a walk down to a river," she said. Tun stood up and waited to follow her.
